With Solo or Family, your notebook is also on your other devices, and we keep a copy of it: if you lose a phone, you lose nothing.
On the new phone
Install the app and connect it to your account: everything comes back. See Find your notebook on another device.
Remove the old one from your account
- On one of your other devices, tap Settings, then Account.
- In the list of your devices, tap “Remove…” next to the old one, then confirm.
It will no longer receive or send anything. The same list is in My Account on our website, under “My devices”.
Before giving away or lending a device
In Settings, Account, tap “Disconnect this iPhone…”, then “Disconnect and Erase”: the notebook is erased from the device, and your account keeps it. Your password is all you'll need to get it back.
